1. Hunter's dream, record into phone, kitchen, coffee, Tom reveal.

2. Tells Chloe.

3. Wanda with Daisy gets Hunter's call.

4. Ruth gets Wanda's call.

5. Gil with boys gets Ruth's call.

6. Barbara on golf course with Brian, Jan and John gets Hunter's call. 

7. Coroner away.

8. Wanda and Daisy, Laramie airport.

9. Gil arrive Ruth's.

10. Hunter, driving, and Chloe.

CH: What will you do today?

H: I put in a call to Doc to see if he has a window. To Jackie's after if he does, straight there if he doesn't. Call Wanda and Ruth tonight, talk about what's next. 

Lull. 

CH: Dad.

H: Yes.

CH: What did you and Tom toast to with the lemonade at the patio?

H (beat): Olivia.

A tear rolls down his cheek from under his sunglasses, Chloe wipes it away, holds his hand, sheds her own.

12. Sess and Claire, call from Jackie as Hunter enters Jackie's.

13. Gil, Wanda, Ruth airport.

Day 6

16. Hunter leaves in Tom's truck. Sunglasses in visor, items in glove compartment, Bandera on radio.

17. Chloe, Barbara, Jan and John, boat on Lake Nacimiento. "What do we know about Ruth?" 

18. Ruth and Wanda, cicadas, re Gil and Maria, truck engine, Hunter arrive.

19. Ruth, Wanda and Hunter, wine around table. Re Gil and family. Ruth excuse self to bed, Wanda right behind after calling Daisy.

20. Chloe with Barbara watching Horse Day video in her room in SLO gets call - ringtone - from Hunter in Ruth's guest room. Enter Ruth and Wanda "about the truck."

Day 7  

21a. Hunter driving truck with Ruth and Wanda, arrive Gil's gate.

21b. Gil waiting, truck arrival, Maria and boys watch intros through window.

22. Fort Park. Hunter, Gil, the boys and ATV's. Thunder, distant lightning, retreat.

23. John and Jan re Vietnam.

24. Hunter, Ruth, Wanda, drinking in Foglost and Hunter's abridged backstory.

25. Gil in den, tequila, tattoo, Bangkok pics, enter Maria and boys.

26. Barbara and Brian's proposal.

Day 8

27. Hunter leaves Ruth and Wanda. R re Last Picture Show matinee at Arcadia, then call Daisy.

28. Hunter driving, lunar West Texas, flat, the manual. 

29. Hunter's publisher's Big City office, bestseller, re call about screenplay rights.

30. Father and son arrive at flat, just fixed. Re the truck and "my father's and his before." 

31. Hunter's guest room, enter Hunter with Tom's boots and hat. Stetson cologne in bathroom. Tom's entry in guest book. Add Hunter's teardrop next to Tom's.
